Figured I'd take the liberty of starting the greatest thread in the world up again. laugh.gif With indoors coming to a close, it's almost time to get ready for outdoors. So, any predictions?

Long jumper/Triple Jumper from Corning is going to be a shoe in, barring injury. 24' and 48' and change indoor. And seems like an honestly nice kid.

Max Straneva from Chenango Valley, pretty much going to dominate distance.

Hey Spittler, I'm not the one that wrote the thing about you. However I was just wondering if you ever posted on BC voice before cause if you did you had to be sayin you were a guest.

Hmmm... I started the prediction thing and I didn't predict anything....how dare i. ph34r.gif
WELLLLL I shall predict the more distant events. 800m = Hmm.. it's a toss up for me, don't follow 800m much so i don't have a clue.....oh what the heck I'll go with Chris Jakobson.
1600m = It's pretty obvious that Vasili gonna be the best. So i'll pick second best which i'll say Tyler Beck as long as he gets in shape cause he had a great freshman season.
3200m = depends who steps up either Gaetani, Martinez, or Straneva. I think Straneva and Martinez have a better shot though.

No, actually my friend who plays basketball for norwich was on this website today in study hall and he told me there was running info on it so I decided to check it out. Who are you?

As to your predictions I would say they look pretty good, but don't be surprised if Jarred Cornfield from Corning contends for sectional title in the 3200. Hopefully I will be in the mix in the 32 also, didn't really do speed during indoor due to the constant cold. I'd be nice to get down to around 9:50

Does anyone have any predictions for girls during outdoor? Excluding the whole JC distance team because we don't need to predict anything, we already know they will do fantastic as usual.

well let's see...

Look for Kati Holowacz in the 8/15. She has had a great indoor season.

Kate Rosettie should be among the favorites in the 3k along with Megan Jacoby and others.

And as you stated, Paige, McKenna, and Lauren should all do well on the oval.

Ah I see, and I agree that you and Cornfield have a good shot at the 3200, however I did not include you in my prediction because we have yet to see the 3 early predictions from way back during XC run the 3200. Until they run it I shall stay with my prediction.

As for my identity I am sorry to say that it shall remain a mystery. ph34r.gif Figure it out if you dare.

also note pierce had an injury to his hamstring half way through the season last year in the oneonta meet and he kept running with that injury but was still beating people.

they should be very even this season. just an fyi from a coach's standpoint it looks to me like jordan needs to get lower in the blocks. He is clearly the fastest guy in most of the races in that video, but he is frequently a step behind and relys on his speed to make it up.
