Well, you're not exactly a grammarian are you? It may not be a sport to you but I bet you couldn't handle the conditions in which they drive.

Have you ever been in one of those cars? Take the Richard Petty Ride-a-long at one of the tracks that sponsor it. Rode in one at Daytona about 10 years ago. Try it.

Feet? LOL.

You forgot "go as fast as you can" and "don't wreck" and "keep it off the wall on the corners" and a zillion other things you probably couldn't do.

I know a guy who was a lead foot! He got a chance once to race a street stock at the old ShangriLa Speedway in Owego (1/2 mile blacktop). It was a decent car and he was aggressive and a leadfoot. He had drag racing (street) and off road (4 wheelin) experience. In his heat race for qualifying he was put in the front or Pole Position!! He came down for the green flag foot to the floor and went roaring into the first corner as fast as he could he rounded the first corner then floored it again and went round the second corner and down the backstretch!! He did his absolute best with a decent car - But guess what happened??? When he came to the end of the backstretch on the very first lap he was passed buy all other 9 cars in the race!! The top 5 cars passed him like he was standing still!! He finshed 3 laps down to the winner in a 10 lap heat or qualifying race!! I do not think driving a race car on an oval track is no where as easy as people think it is!!

That's crap and you know it. Any DELETED can drive a car. It takes skill to be squished between 40+ cars going 150+ mph and not run into someone. You're a big talker but I bet your the same type of person who slams on their brakes when they get to kamikazee curb, doing 45 mph around the bend.

Did anyone else see the wreck during qualifying today? I was sure that the driver was not going to walk away from that one, but I was wrong. Here's the link:

that's funny! i'm not much of a fan of nascar but we should all take lessons from how they market their product. also a guy named ricky carmichael just started racing in the truck series. here's a guy that has racing talent dripping from his pores and as far as i know hasn't netted his first checkered flag. if it was as easy as the haters say shouldn't rc be walking on the competition every week? jmo
