I know it's preseason but the Buffalo Bills are horrible! Offense, defense and special teams are all weak. Looks like another long year for the Bills. Jim Kelly would be a better choice at QB than any other options they have available...

NFL network is reporting that Freddie Jackson has a broken hand and is out 4-6 weeks. Spiller better be ready. Lynch sucks.

when you hire a head coach who is a recycled loser who has never experienced success at any level, even college, what would you expect? it is unreal that they hired him.

In the Bills' defense, they left 16 key contributors home for the pre-season game against Washington. That wasn't the same team you'll see on opening day. Not that they'll be much better, and the QB still is horrible, but give it a chance. It's still just pre-season, they were missing a good number of starters and other contributors.

Lynch is hurt too and out possibly out for the remainder of the pre-season.

Spiller better be wrapped in bubbe wrap and a bullet proof vest running behind that O-Line.

Spiller is only 5'11 and less than 200 pounds. Good luck getting through the year without getting him hurt.

What a stupid post. What does height have to do with preventing injury, first of all? And Jamaal Charles and Chris Johnson are both under 200 lbs., and probably 2 of the top 5 backs in the league.

The offensive line had zero to do with the injuries to Lynch and Jackson. Both players were hurt when they fall awkwardly after long runs, actually.

Lynch is the 3rd best running back on their roster. It's a blessing in disguise if he gets hurt off and on, so the others can get more touches.

Charles is a top 5 back? That's a stupid post. I stated the obvious, he's only 5'11 and under 200. Easy to get hurt when you're that small. Are you also implying that Charles and Johnson aren't going to get hurt? Now that would be yet another stupid post you could add. Get a clue.

Where did I state it was the OL's fault? Have you watched a Bills game in recent years? Their OL is deplorable. Hence, bubble wrap him behind that line because he is going to get hit hard and often behind that joke of a line.

I vote that Spiller is ready. He's got the speed and the moves. He'll be just fine, they're not going to have him carry the ball 25+ times per game up the A-gap.

Their defense looks a little better tonight. They already picked off Manning and ran it back for a TD. Special teams still look pathetic.

The most surprising thing is how good Trent Edwards has looked throughout pre-season. Granted it's pre-season, but the Bengals through their 1st team defense at them for an entire half and brought all kinds of blitz packages and exotic fronts. Once the o-line adjusted he was lights out. Give this guy some time and he'll be a very good NFL QB. The issue the last few seasons has been the pass rush getting to him so quickly. The offense looks great. Defense is still an issue because they can't get off the field on 3rd down.

I actually think that Trent IS a decent QB, with a high level of potential. But he's been stuck with a bad running game, a weak core of receivers, and a TERRIBLE offensive line.

The biggest problem will be their lack of a pass rush. It's going to kill them this year, especially with the loss of All-Pro DE/LB Aaron Schobel. That's a double-digit sack guy that has to be replaced.

They were 4th in points scored last year! But they have absolutely no pass rush, and even if they did I'm not sure that their secondary can cover anyone anyway!

Their 1st pick last year from Penn State, Aaron Maybin, has to step up huge to fill the shoes of Schobel. He has the talent, but he's been a bust so far. They are still going to put him in for passing situations to see if he can make an impact. He needs to get some sacks!
