Lost some, but got many back too, especially telling, ALL of the speedsters they had in the backfield.
They will walk through class C in the section without hardly breaking a sweat. Not one team in C has what it takes to contain their speed. They may have some trouble with the B teams they play, Windsor, CV and Norwich. It all points to another state semifinal appearance, perhaps with a loss or two to the class B teams they face.

Forks will beat Windsor, Norwich and CV by 20 or more points each. All three of those class b teams won't stay with them.

One starting guards one half-starting tackle and the all-state center are back.
They will be fine in that department, at least in-Section.

Like we never heard that in the last 9 years. After one 12-1 season they lost all 22 starters. All 22. What happened next? They ran off 38 straight wins and two state titles.
The point is this school seems to just rebuild quite well. They DO have tons of speed this year, all the fast RBs are back. They will walk through Section 4 class C hardly breaking a sweat. Might lose to Norwich along the way, but they'll be in the state playoffs again come September.
Norwich appears to be loaded too. Might be our B rep in states.

Not as good as in the past? You mean they won't win the Class B State Championship by 7 touchdowns? Thanks for the tip, genius. If they're even half that good (and they looked pretty darn good dismantling Windsor today) they'll breeze through Section 4 (at least) without much of a problem. But as they say, that's why they play the games.

i was at the windsor game yesterday. forks has many options all around. windsor isnt even an awful team. and a score or 53 to 16 just shows how powerful this team is. their speed will carry them deep into the playoffs along with an underrated offensive line and a dominant defense.

C'mon now Windsor is going to have a long year .
They have a slow backfield and a Oline that is big and slow . It's hard to watch and I feel like they could use a change in leadership . Nuff said.
Forks will not get tested much this season until they play outside of section 4 .
If they get big heads from this weekend it could hurt them .
I am thinking the coaching staff won't allow that .
Go Bluedevils !
