As long as Burnett stays in the rotation, he's a guaranteed loss for the team. Dollar for dollar, he's the worst pitcher in the majors.

Really? They're done? There's still over a month to play. Let's see what happens before you start running your mouth...retard.

They have a brutal schedule left, and a losing record against the AL East if you leave out their games against Baltimore.

But now Baltimore is playing 100x better under Showalter, who built the last Yankee Dynasty. So look for the Yankees to have about a .450 winning percentage from here on out because they don't have any scrubs left on their schedule to beat up on.

Have you looked at the standings lately? I am sorry if you are a bitter boston or mets fans. The fact is that they STILL have the best record in baseball and according to espn.com have a 99.6% chance of making the playoffs. Don't let your hatred interfere with the facts that they are a good team. They lead the league in wins, runs scored, run differential and are 6th in team batting average. So don't worry football season is here so you can watch that and don't think how your team is so bad that you have to spend your time hating a good one.

And furthermore..............Okay lets say they go under .500 for the rest of the season. Let's say they go 12 and 14 for the rest of the season. Thats about a .460 winning percentange. With Boston being 10 games behind (and all they need to do is beat boston to make the playoffs due to the wildcard) Boston would have to go 22 and 4 just to tie the Yanks for the wildcard. So that won't happen. Just face it, you fail all around.
