Your joking right? They had 19 offensive plays vs Shen's 6 offensive plays in the first 30 minutes... They dominated the ball and played smash mouth football just the way U-E always have and always will. They also scored 3 times vs shens 1.. Based on your statement you clearly were not there !!

Here is the link to the Albany Times Unions Football Blog describing the scrimmage between Shen and U-E:
http://blog.timesunion.com/sidelines/scrim...en-thread/5980/
Does not say anything about U-E getting their "asses kicked". I had the opportunity to attend the scrimmage and all I can say is that #45 Fullback is a real bruiser. He ran thru (and over) the Shen defensive linemen. U-E's defense was the standout on Sat. although the offense moved the ball well. Bronson Greene from Shen was the standout runner in our area last season.
Here is the quote from the blog:
"Shenendehowa Scrimmage:This was a head-to-head scrimmage between Shenendehowa and Union-Endicott.
The starting offense for Shen failed to generate much against the Tigers’ starting defense during the first half. Many of the plays designed for running back Bronson Greene failed to go anywhere because of backfield penetration by one or two Union-Endicott defender. Junior running back Tony Fusco popped off a couple of nice runs with the second string offense.
The Plainsmen did allow a touchdown pass midway through what would have the second quarter.
Shen looked much better in the second half — when each team took the ball four times each from the 10, 5 and 3-yard lines. No matter the result of each play, the offense started again from the 10, 5 or 3 until each four-play series was complete.
I came away from here with the same thing coach Brent Steuerwald said — the young offensive line needs to raise its level quickly. I thought the defense played solid overall, although there were glaring missed assignments on both sides of the ball."

It is still not updated. There were no programs at the game. It is not that hard to get a roster with an accurate height and weight stat line. Fran Angeline would have had this covered.

Just checked at 8:30 tonight and still no roster update or Ithaca score. Whoever runs that site is an embarrassment to the U-E organization.

Oh give me a break...Yes, he is such an embarrassment because maybe, just maybe, there are more important things than updating a stupid website. If you have checked the website in previous years, you know that it was always well-kept and up to date. And seeing as how it's still run by the same person that has done it in the past, there obviously must be reasons why it has not been managed recently. If you really don't have anything better to do with your life, or more important things to focus on, than high school football then you, sir, are the embarrassment.

If Fran Angeline were still in charge this would not be happening. The programs would have been ready on week one with current roster information including the CORRECT height and weight for the players. Fran was a stickler for details. The little things were important to him and his program.

Fran ran the program with class and made all of Endicott proud of that team. Remember the police cars escorting the busses across the bridge to the Vestal games? Remember when winning a starting spot meant challenging the starter and if you knocked him out of the ring, you won his spot? Thats how his teams were always such hard hitting teams, the toughest kids played and out-toughed the other teams. Remember when only the football team got on the football field? Remember the orange screen that ran along the wall behind the last row of bleachers at the top of the stadium on game day so cheap people couldn't walk up and watch the game without paying? Remember the cloth sign that ran across the intersection of Main St. and Washington Ave. that said Welcome to the Home of the Tigers to the visiting teams as they pulled into UE? Remember when if a senior walked in to play football, but had never played before, never took the beatings as an underclassman, never lost sweat or blood, just wanted to wear the colors his last year, he was told to take a hike? Remember when if you got beat and played terrible, you ran the hill behind the clubhouse? Those were good, classy, UE football days.

He's the coach that was quoted in the paper once in the early 80s saying "it's bad when a Sus team beats a STAC team" once when such an outcome occurred that weekend. Not exactly classy.

Fran would not waste hist time on the website. he was too busy game planning. Fran would have made one of his stooges like Bart Guccia update the website twice daily.

UE use to have some great game programs during the Angeline Era. Do they still make them? If so maybe someone can copy the roster and post it here.
