The Shamrock Wrestling Club is committed to raising the awareness of all facets of amateur wrestling- Discipline, Technique, Drills, Weight Training, Diet, Mental Preparation and Character. Each practice will consist of a combination of technique, drilling, and live wrestling. The Shamrock Wrestling Club’s main emphasis is collegiate (High School Style) wrestling, however freestyle (International Style) will also be focused on during the 2nd semester. It is our goal to prepare each member for the next level of competition. We feel that developing the techniques, drills, attitudes and philosophies taught at the college level will undoubtedly enhance your high school wrestling. We don’t inherit champions, we develop them!

That's because you know my child would twist your child into a pretzel within 10 seconds

and then probably give him the shocker or some other "secret move". stop repressing your kids tendencies and LET YOUR BOY COME OUT OF THE CLOSET FINALLY............IT'S OK IF HE IS HOMOSEXUAL. my son and the rest of the kids playing normal sports wont make fun of him.

Actually, Kleinsmith has just been a very dedicated and supportive parent in the program, not a coach. JGold started with Shamrock in 2001 (i think) and jumped ship to be Gumble's co-pilot at Worldwide. He never stopped helping or coaching Shamrock wrestlers during that time. Once he left CF, he returned to Shamrock and has been helping out at all levels. I think they (JGold & Kleinsmith) will do a great job with the youth program and I think Bing. Univ. will be a great place for them to train. Looking forward to another great year on the mats!

actually Gumble started the initial Broco club that became shamrock when scot wanted in. they coached together and jgold was a part of that when the sectionwas dominating at the state level.

when Gumble wanted to partner with worldwide greene didn't want to change the name so they divorced and greene got most of the kids and gumble got the car and some of the pets.

End result is the same no matter how you slice it...................The success Section 4 has enjoyed over the past several years is slowly dieing. Shamrock is a mere shadow of what it once was. Gone are the kids who made it one of the most feared names in wrestling. Worldwide never took off despite what CF parents may tell you. Cornell's club is the only one with a growing enrollment and the majority of the growth is not from our area.

One may ask why but I think the reason is simple. Manning, Kleinsmith, and Goldman are all active within the sport but for every supporter they have there are two would rather trash them on forums such as this one. Gumble, Green, and countless others have done momentus things in our area for the sport of wrestling (and yes for themselves) but again the trash talk spews endlessly. People would rather type insults without posting thier names than working to better the sport.

In a few short years everyone will be talking about the "glory years" of section 4 and how great it was. They will recall the greats from years past and present and the coaches they had. Unfortunately it will be to late to save what we currently have. The sad truth is, if everyone who spends thier time bitching on this web site would shut up and enroll thier kid in a wrestling program run by anyone they chose they would be one step closer to making thier kid a better wrestler. Spend that 90 minutes with your son (or daughter) and do something posative for the sport.

To all the coaches--Thank You for what you have doone for Section IV wrestling over the years.

it really upsets me when people refer to wrestlers as being a bunch of homosexuals when the reality is that yes there are some homosexual wrestlers but most aren't. in order to respect the sport you have to have the balls to actally try wrestling, because once you know what it takes to be a wrestler you will have a whole new perspective on the sport.

Why do I need credability to say something posative about individuals or a sport? I am certain that once I post my name you would instantly rip my program or my team or my son/daughter for that matter. You wold most certaily post your name then wouldn't you? I am a fan of the sport and have been since the 70's. That is my credability Jr.

It kills me to see the garbage that goes on now with kids & parents trashing everyone they don't agree with. Its no wonder Section v kicks our backside every year in D2@ States and our D1 team hasn't made the top 3 in years. Keep trashing the programs and then cry when there is no more Section 4 wrestling glory or shut up, get off your butt and do something posative.
