I'm new here, and I'm not trying to bash anyone. I was just wondering what an SParent was. Spartan parent maybe?

Not all ME parents are SParents. Many ME parents are decent, supportive parents that allow their coaches to coach and their players to play. A SParent is quite the opposite. They like to bash their own coaches on this site for not playing their fat, retarded kids....living on here posting rediculous commentary on ME sports. I get the feeling they are the type that still wear their HS jersey's to Endwell bars on the weekends and have trouble realizing that they are grown adults and should leave childish arguments to the children on their facebook accounts.....

I'm sorry, but it still doesn't answer my question. I'm really not trying to get something started here, honestly. I just saw the term used on the forums and I don't know what it means. All I'm looking for is an answer so when I read all the negative comments that these forums seem to thrive on that I know what the word means.
Thanks to anyone that can tell me what an SParent is. I wasn't sure if it meant sports parent.

Maybe my terminology is not right. What does the "S" stand for in SParent? That's all i'm asking, not trying to start anything.

There are bad parents in every district. Any parent who complains that their child is not treated fairly by the coach is a "Sparent" no matter what district they live in.
M-E just happens to be consistently good in sports at their level (Class A or
Their record speaks for itself in football, cross-country, field hockey (ok- there's no competition but still), soccer, etc. They aren't bad in any sport (ok- lacrosse, but see field hockey comment).
So, people are jealous and attack them. It's a common problem.
