From what I heard they where both supposed to get a lot of playing time especially Smith. Shucks! Wait till next year. That's why I always said that Jordan Thomas was the best..., and he's proving it.

Hey don't go stirring shit up!!! Jordan's doing good. But so are Jamar and Daquan.. Jamar is getting screwed, he should be playing but they're giving the reps to the older kids. Once he gets his chance, it's over for anyone below him on the depth chart. And Daquan is doing things up at Penn State that's just remarkable.. He's got a great chance at being the #2 DT As a true freshman at a school like P.State.. You people were so busy hating on these 3 kids on this website over the last few years that you failed to realize, That you were truly watching history in the making .These young men will go down in BC History as some of the best players to ever play in this area. And you people missed it.. Well have fun waiting for it to happen again, Maybe your grandkids will get a chance to see it happen. But then again if their anything like you morons they'll miss it too!!!!

I agree with the caliber of players that the three are. Very special players trying to crack tough lineups. Thank you for the highlight film. Hopefully we can see more this season.

Don't forget Chandler Jones. I watched the Syracuse game and the announcers were raving about his play. They said he has a great chance to be playing on Sundays. U.E. produces the most big time players. Shucks.

OK, to say that Jamar is getting screwed?! Come on it's college. What, is the coach playing his son and all his neighborhood friends? Give them all credit for playing at that level and leave it at that. It doesn't happen much with football players from this area.

Once again all the haters come out to bash kids that are making positive strides in their lives. I would like to agree with the other posters.Encourage these kids and all others that are working hard to better themselves.At least we are not reading about them doing negative things in the newspapers.Attending school on scholarship and playing ball for big time Universities is a huge accomplishment in itself. As for playing time and contributions time will tell. This past summer Jamar chose to stay in Amherst to work part time , focus on school work and football.He will recieve quality time on the field and expectations are high.His hard work and positive attitude will speak for him.His day will come.

the 3 shouldn't be bashed, but they also are young and have to get to a time when they are on the field contributing. that's all that counts. right now, they are a dime a dozen, as you would expect as freshmen. let's not get carried away.

De'Antwuan Williams ..Virginia's ALL Time leading rusher. Rated #52 rb in the nation his Senior Year rating 3*
Mason Robinson was a 4* kid, runs a 4.4 . Ranked the 33rd best his Senior year of H.S Football
Kordell Young was an unranked RB (Probably an early commit) Runs a 4.4. And is described as "electric" Unfortunately for him he's been plagued with knee injuries and is mostly a 3rd down back from what I gather...
Joe Martinek(who is the #1 back at Rutgers) Is NJ'S "ALL Time leading rusher at the H.S Level" Was rated a 3* Cb coming out of H.S . But was converted back to the RB position due to lack of depth. He's a bruiser as a RB will get the tough yards and also has speed when he's into the secondary.. Runs sub 4.5 and is 6'1 215.
The point of this is to show you that no-matter who you are or where your playing, there's fierce competition at every position at the D1 level ......So yeah ,what Jones is doing is remarkable. But what Thomas has done by cracking the 2 deep at a position that none of you thought he could play at the next level is just as impressive!!! The first game Thomas played in he was given the ball 16X as a true freshman!! That should tell you what he's doing down in Piscataway is opening up alot of peoples eyes to what kind of talent he is. From the message boards down there and Coach Schiano's comments. Their already thinking "Next Level"
