Swisher hit a dramatic 9th inning walkoff to prevent the sweep today. Jim Johnson was overpowering in his one and a third scoreless innings today. This game was the best of both worlds, a strong JJ outing and theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yankees win.

It won't be long until Johnson returns to the closer role. He'll be the O's closer for the next 10 years. Glad he got over the hiccup and is back where he belongs, dominating in the Bigs. It was only a matter of time, he had a very strong season last year.

It was more of him pitching injured then a hiccup.

Yes, this outstanding performance by Mr. Johnson brings his ERA down to a stellar 5.40.

I'd love to see JJ in pinstripes one day.

Also - Give it up for my boy SWISH - said the wise old poster who predicted great things from this enthuiastic "gamer" prior to the 2009 season.

The guy has become to the Yankees what Paul O'Neil was to the 1996 - 2000 Yankee championship teams.

I smile everytime he comes through - just thinking of the idiots that bad mouthed his abilities back then, and still do to this day. He has become an integral part of the team - a leader and true Yankee both on and off the field.

First off, you should be arrested for prostitution because you get paid to suck at work. Did you know umpires stay in hotels and so do opposing minor league players ?
