None of this matches up to the firepower I saw this morning. I heard later on that 90 people may be involved. See my post.... I'm still kinda shocked by what I saw..... For pot....don't make sense.

The quantity and caliber of the weapon were not mentioned and they may never be.

But showing up at their house with a vehicle like that is good insurance that they will most likely not engage in a gunfight with police, which could have led to other people in nearby homes and on the street getting hurt. Better safe than sorry as they say.

Let me tell you ..... The potential for civilian casualties was extremely high. I was behind the line of guns and went...Holy SH*T.... I don't have armour....I'm moving....But at the other end of the street were a whole bunch of people without anything but their curiosity. How would that work out ?????

Overkill !

(Hope these guys don't sell girl scout cookies and nothing about what they do but....an APC for pot ?? Give me something like super narco terrorist atom bombing central park west end mama jamma.... somehing)

OK.... Great job guys. Glad to see you got the RV out. Now take it back and wash and wax it..... Don't forget to clean the ashtrays......

A paranoid person would wonder why none of those arrested were affiliated with the two well known black drug dealing gangs in the area.

It is strange, perhaps they wanted to nip this element in the bud, could be part of a cartel?
The two black gangs should be policing themselves robberies and muggings and break-ins are not good for the drug business, the Mayor and Police chief should set down with them and tell them to clean up their act, those at the top keep a low profile but the junior members act like animals.
The drug war was lost a long time ago.

Mole, I know it's jarring, but this actually fits perfectly. Anytime you get a few agencies together for a raid like this, even if it's relatively small, if one of them has an APC, they'll bring it.

There are departments down in Texas that will use their APC to rip the walls out of houses for minor marijuana raids just because it's something they can do. Overkill? Yeah. Unfortunately, it's become a norm in this country.

I am not in extreme danger. I am the extreme danger. A guy drives by and doesn't see anything going on, and you think that of me? No. I am the one who drives.
