Marcellus Shale
Yup, we're dead last, ranked 344th in the country. What an embarassment. That's Lois Defleur's legacy. Millions upon million of tax dollars going to these bums coaching. Thugs imported to play. The last thing BU needs is a Division One Basketball Team. Even the "fans" attend the games with brown bags over their heads. Can the program, end the blood bath, save us millions.
The Ice Man
Glass half full people would say there is only one way to go now. And that is UP !
27 Time World Champions
Glass half full people would say there is only one way to go now. And that is UP ! Well, their leading scorer and rebounder, Ben Dickinson, transferred along with another young talented player (can't think of his name). Hate to say it but this team is going to be even worse than last year. BU's athletic director, Patrick Elliott says he's looking for a coach that will help the Bearcats compete for championships in the America East, while having good student-athletes and citizens. Championships should be the last thing on his mind. Concentrate on getting an honest coach and good student-athletes and citizens. Hopefully, things will fall into place, but it's going to take time. @
Marcellus Shale
Millions upon millions wasted on this rag-tag team for what? "Fans" to to the games in paper bags. Does anybody have photos of that?
BuckedTooth
Other BU programs have had great success only to lose quality coaches to other schools willing to pay appropriate salaries. Meanwhile the BBall program continues to flounder while Broadus is finishing up his million/season contract while we are paying Macon and the next "redeemer" at the same time. Basketball in this area in general isn't of quality to begin with and they seemed hell bent on forcing it to justify the Events Center.
