Their owner (Gannett) is pushing the local papers they own to use their High School Sports site for "everything high school". That site was a mess last year and it's much worse this year. They are trying to cookie-cutter the entire nation - much like the equally horrid MaxPreps website is - and it is not the way to go, at least judging by the results. Plus, if you noticed the online Pressconnects had ZERO info at all on any of the Saturday games. They barely had any new uploads at all for their entire site. It's bad and getting worse. I hate to see what this will all be like in 5 years. While I suspect we'll be able to read our online newspapers on an LED panel on our refrigerator doors, I suspect the content, journalism and design of the "papers" will be urine poor. I have to admit that the missing stats put a dent in my Sat & Sun mornings. Sometime those articles don't reflect the true tone of a game and by looking at the stats you can read through the bias. .
