casus belli Posted May 25 Report Share Posted May 25 Vestal Assessors are claiming they are receiving threats. So they have received a police presence at the Assessors office. The Vestal PD now has a police car parked outside the Assessors office, at 516 Front St. Are they really receiving threats, or are they using a police presence to dissuade Vestal residents from coming into the Assessors office to challenge their assessments? The Ice Cream Man, Bill 'Funky Beez' Stewart, gets his assessment cut in half for doing Vestals dirty work, going after people like John Solak. And now because it's summer, and Mark Minoia wants to spend his summer on the golf course, they're using police intimidation to keep residents away. The corruption in Vestal is disgusting. The funky beenz guy needs to get his assessment gift rescinded. People like Emily Jablon are running businesses out of a property that was not authorized and is in a 100 year flood plane and the building is not approved by code. Vestal does nothing and she posted on Facebook bragging about buying the property sight unseen but when she was denied by Vestal zoning board she wrote a letter claiming she had no clue about the issue and was caught by surprise. What did she expect buying it sight unseen but then Emily tried blaming it on the realtor in her letter to vestal however it’s the same realtor she has praised in the past on Facebook. Vestal is completely out of control and she is putting kids in danger, than property on Coleman road is uninsurable and the code inspector report stated it’s an empty building with no insulation and would need over $100k to make it livable. God forbid a kid gets hurt there is no insurance. It’s a huge slap in the face operating a business not notifiying the town and then she gets denied by zoning and sends countless emails to vestal begging them to consider her application. Her lawyer emailed vestal stating he’s representing her and she goes over his head emailing vestal herself, she’s a client from hell!
