Roads, police, education, etc. are services provided by government, most government, not socialism. It's only the slackers who don't want to pay taxes that call it socialism. Social services benefit the rich by protecting them from the masses who would suffer but also be a danger to the rich. They keep the poor placated along with alcohol, drugs, casinos and TV. This country has been socialistic for the last 50 years and in that time span, we have created the largest, most successful economy in the history of the world - and created the single most successful middle class in the history of the world. Under our system our poor, middle class and rich have done extremely well. As far as your comment assuming that that I do not owrk, I happen to own three businesses and make nearly one million dollars a year. Hey folks, here's a good one. This jackhole wants us to believe that he/she is a millionaire and spends time reading and posting on BCV.
